KERRVILLE, TX – January 17, 2017 – Guadalupe Bank is pleased to announce its appointment of Tom Adams as Chief Financial Officer.

“We’re pleased to announce that Tom Adams has joined our team as CFO,” says bank President and Chairman of the Board, Tony Roberts. “Tom brings a wealth of financial knowledge and banking experience to our team. We are very excited about the operational and financial efficiencies we expect to see with Tom on board,” says Roberts.

“We were looking for someone with exactly Tom’s background and qualifications,” states David Wampler, vice chairman of the board. “We’re excited to have found Tom; he’s a perfect fit for our team,” says Wampler. “This past year has been a momentous year for Guadalupe Bank. With the addition of Tom Adams, our team is truly positioned to lead Guadalupe Bank to continued success.”

A 1978 graduate of Texas A&M University, Tom Adams is also a CPA, CGMA, and holds a MBA from Texas A&M University. Approximately half of his career has been in public accounting, with the other half having been spent in CFO positions for multiple banks across Texas. Tom joined Guadalupe Bank in early October, and he and his wife, Stephanie, relocated to Kerrville from College Station, Texas. Tom and Stephanie have two daughters, Karleigh (21) and Amelia (15), and are looking forward to making Kerrville their new home.

“Honestly, it has truly been a blessing to join the Guadalupe Bank family,” says Adams. “We’re extremely excited about being a part of the Kerrville community and contributing to the lives of residents and businesses in Kerr and Gillespie counties. The bank’s board is impressive, and its staff is exceptionally strong. We would not have left dear ‘ole Aggieland for just ‘any’ bank,” states Adams.
